Amazing Stay! Everything at this resort was excellent—clean and fully functional washroom, comfortable room, great restaurant, and a convenient location. First let me say that the staff was accommodating and very friendly. They are doing the best with what they have. The place is falling apart and most things are in bad shape. Biggest roach I ever seen on my door to welcome me day 1, with three friends of it in the bathroom during my stay. The bed was better described as a slab of concrete which destroyed my back. Let the water run for five minutes and you will get hot water in the shower. Sliding door broken so balcony was always a project. The funny part was they would give you a blanket on request but take away the sheet. Asked for a sheet and they took the blanket…so odd. The place is being repaired in real time so the furniture was coated with shellac and sticky (ripped the skin off my foot when I let it lay on the bed frame too long). Breakfast was free but very minimal options. Still decent taste. The staff was wonderful and friendly though. The pool was unusable as there are no steps into the actual pool. We were there for a week and made the best of it but won’t be back. If the staff was not so nice we would have left day one.
