Beautiful boutique hotel

I was here for two nights, the staff were so friendly and it’s really nice to be staying above such a delicious cafe. The only thing was the bed is quite hard, as I’m pregnant that was extra uncomfortable. But the room was gorgeous and the daily cleaning exquisite. I would stay again.

Miss Sophie is a cute little boutique hotel located on top of her coffee shop. We had breakfast at the coffee shop while we were waiting for our room to be ready. Then we climbed two flights of not so wonderful steps. But when we got to our room, we were really happy! They have managed to keep the history of the place and still make it modern. It’s in a great location, walkable to the tram and the two major squares.

Miss Sophie’s in Olomouc was great. The team was responsive over email when I had questions about how to get to the location. When we arrived, they were very helpful. Most of the staff spoke excellent English and were able to help us out with everything we needed. The room was very nice and spacious. It is easily the largest room we had in Czech (we stayed in apartments in Prague and Brno, and another hotel in Prague). They also allowed us to store our luggage before our train out of town, which was incredibly helpful! The food was also pretty good in the cafe.

We arrived in Olomouc by train. Took no X4 streetcar to the hotel. The hotel is very rustic and enhanced the experience of the historical downtown which is only a couple minutes walk. We checked in in the coffee shop next door.The young woman who took care of us was excellent and spoke very good English. The only thing I would caution light sleepers is the noise of the streetcars below but personally, it did not bother us.

Great little gem very close to the center of the old town. Very old bldg refurbished nicely to retain ambiance. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Easy access from train and bus stations by short tram ride and short walk. A very pleasant surprise. Only drawback is no elevator but staff helped with bag.

This is one of the best places to stay in Olomouc. It is centrally located, on a tram line, two minutes walk from the Upper and Lower Squares (where many restaurants and pubs are), about four minutes from Gallery Moritz (a small shopping mall) and maybe 15-20 min walk away from Santovka (the big mall). The breakfasts are excellent and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and friendly. The staff amazing. They helped us book train tickets for Budapest and Vienna. The decor adorable. Chic old world feel in a great location in Olomouc. Would stay at any Miss Sophie's. Staff very well trained, friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel.

Staying at Miss Sophie’s was like stepping into another world, one where all your needs are thoughtfully considered and every person treats you kindly. I was refreshed by my stay here. Miss Sophie’s goes the extra mile to care for their guests - from the beautiful interior design elements, to the water offered to you upon arrival, to the homemade gingerbread cookies on your bead side table and the twinkly lights on the bed frame. This is truly a unique and special place. I look forward to my next visit.

Best Hotel Ever!

Miss Sophie’s is one of my favorite hotels ever! The room was stunningly gorgeous, like something out of a lifestyle magazine. The service was wonderful. They checked us in early, and we had sparkling water and cookies waiting on us in our room. The breakfast, which is free, was delicious and huge! Stay here!

Nice little surprise place in the centre

I would highly recommend this hotel in Olomouc where there is a shortage of great places. This quirky style but stylish and inspiring place will perhaps spark some ideas for your home living. Worth staying in and they have the very local beer on tap as well.
