Fantastic holiday

Lovely views and a property that is all about the outside living - think the site should be more accurate on how many steps to the beach it is and also think the site should suggest the property is not suitable for elderly or people that are not very mobiles, beyond that we had a fantastic time.

We spent one week of vacation in the beginning of October in Philippe's villa and it was just great! Starting with Carine and Dominique (our local hosts) being so kind and approachable, the fantastic view, a very clean and well kept villa in a quiet surrounding...superb!

Fantastic villa in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful holiday in this Villa Domi and Carine were excellent hosts, great communication, very friendly and sorted anything out immediately. The Villa was extremely clean and the pool was fabulous. We had a brilliant time and it was a great base to get to Olbia, the beaches and the airport. 10/10 would most definitely recommend

The view is amazing. House was clean when we arrived, and pool was kept clean by a very friendly pool man. Great location, the beach is fantastic and not too far away from the ice creams.

Great stay at Villa Bougainvillier

We were 2 couples who were new to this part of Sardinia. The villa was outstanding and even better than we had expected. It is very much an outdoor house with a range of shady places to explore. The pool was magnificent and the views over Olbia from the terrace outstanding. The bedrooms were all of a good size with 2 well appointed en-suites and one shared shower room. We would love to come back and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Fabulous villa with wonderful views

Thank you for a wonderful stay, everyone was so helpful both before our stay, during our stay and afterwards. The pool is amazing and the views are outstanding! Sadly our infants left two much loved cuddly toys when we left but these are kindly being posted to us. Thanks to you all for making two young children very happy.

Outstanding home with amazing views and pool

We stayed at Porto Istana for 10 days and it was an outstanding experience. The home is well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The pool area, BBQ and outside living space is absolutely perfect…not to mention the VIEWS! It is possible to walk to the beach - a bit of a distance but we did it many days. There is a great bar called Geko that serves cocktails and great pizza / lunch. You will not go wrong choosing this home!

A fabulous villa maintained to a very high standard. Wonderful view from each level. The pool is fantastic and there are lots of different sitting areas with varying amounts of shade. The kitchen is very well equipped (Hob, microwave and air fryer but no oven) and the BBQ is great. It is a 20 min steep walk down to Porto Istana beach, 25 min walk to supermarket in Murta Maria and 20-30 min drive in to Olbia. The only thing that could have been improved is to have an earlier check in than 5 pm. We would definitely recommend this villa.

We were a group of 3 couples and overall had a good experience. Unfortunately, the 1st half of May is burdened with gail force winds daily which limited our ability to enjoy the outdoor patios and pool. The hosts were accommodating but we had issues with how to turn on the washing machine. On the 2nd day the electricity was out, we did not have hot water and the gas stove did not work. We called for help and the host came and fixed all (out of gas & he had to connect a new tank - this should have been done prior to our arrival).We would stay here again but only during warmer months as the scenery is spectacular and the Sardinians are friendly and accommodating.

Overall lovely stay, beautiful views and peaceful location. Only couple of things to feedback, listing stated oven but kitchen only had mircowave or small air fryer. As others mentioned recycling and rubbish was very complex and would have been good to have some guidance written in English. We couldnt work out where to drop it, and the man who let met us didnt speak much English.

Wonderful Holiday

Clean and well kept property with lots of outdoor space and a fantastic pool. Responsive and straightforward check-in process (despite our slightly late arrival). Dominique and Carine were great. Accurate description of online of the property (see photos within listing). Philippe was responsive and helpful with all communication. Property is in a convenient location within 15 min drive from the airport in Olbia and 5 mins from beaches, shops and restaurants. Located at the end of a private road with security access and a lovely view of the bay around Olbia. Overall a wonderful property and excellent holiday which was aided by Philippe, Dominique and Carine’s assistance. Merci pour tout.

Magnifico panorama

Abbiamo appena trascorso una stupenda vacanza presso la villa del sig. Philippe, che è situata su una collina a Porto Istana, per cui si gode sempre di una piacevole brezza anche quando le giornate sono molto calde, la piscina poi è stupenda, esposta tutto il giorno al sole quindi l'acqua ha sempre una giusta temperatura.......la comunicazione con Carinne e Dominique è stata eccellente... esperiamo di poter tornare l'anno prossimo!
