The bad and the good

Breakfast was $16 per person. We were informed it cost and was not included. They had cold meals and we were told the dinner service closed at 11. I picked cold items and we were in the middle of checkout and then she told us the dinner was still opened. She was also dealing with another issue in the middle of helping us. I wish she would have waited to give us full attention so we could have gotten our dinner there. Sucked, but we had a good time: the hotel hallway smelled like weed. The bathroom is ridiculously small. Door basically hits the toilet. Bed was comfortable. Nice location. Not sure if I would return though. Parking also cost $10 per night and they told my husband they’d take it out of the $50 incidental charge.

Whilst we enjoyed the location and the kind staff, we were definitely underwhelmed by the room specifically. For a King bedroom the bathroom was MINUSCULE, add to that no bathroom fan so the bathroom would steam up in just a few moments (we did like the water pressure). The headboard for the bed was badly scratched up and damaged. The bedding had red stains and was in poor condition. The Air conditioner did work but made a loud noise whenever turned on high. Would I stay here again? Depends on if it was the cheapest option but I didn’t feel like it was a 4 star hotel.

I expected more

The room was in good condition. The bathroom was really small and the coffee was in the closet on top of small fridge which was odd. The walls were thin as we heard our neighbors every move including tv and the people walking on your head, it was ok but I would likely make a different choice next time. I expected more for a 4star hotel.

We found the Breakfast was fair most of the food was over cooked or stiff from setting too long. Fruit and oatmeal were expectable and coffee was fair. Staff was friendly at both front desk and restaurant. The biggest and most important issue was the room wasn't much better than a Motel 6, run down, in poor condition especially for the price which was twice as much as others. The amenities were lacking at best. Our room had no microwave or an easy chair even. Although not of any fault by the hotel itself, but they could shared the information that the hotel across from the hotel was in the process of a complete tear down and the noise and equipment began very early in the morning. Overall this vacation turned out to be expensive for what you receive, noise, loud, stressful and unsatisfactory in a whole.
