Terrible staff service. I stayed there for 4 nights because I just didnโ€™t want to move my belongings but seemed like the more you stay, the more terrible they are. I donโ€™t know do they have bias only for me or not but I felt it is. As I noticed the guest who only stayed 1 night or short time, They are very welcome and doing good service. From my opinion I pay money more. Either I stayed only 1 night but I also need fairness not bias.

It was in a lovely spot in the hills surrounded by greenery with a good view of the town. The owner Ryo went out of his wasy to pick me up from the station when ai arrived late and dropped me off there early the next morning. It had a nice bath too

Iโ€™m tall and the bed was short so put me on a tatami, no a negative just not my favorite. Otherwise outstanding! They have 24 hour hot Springs. Hosts were great!

Tucked away in the mountains, you will need to drive to reach the city centre. The staff are very welcoming and there is an onsen! We wish we could have booked a dinner too as the food looked great.

It was great stay i came late at night and was still welcome smoothly. It seems like the owners love people and interested to know. It was great to hear how they both start the vision of this hostel. I reccomend this hostel definetly.

I got the transportation message from Ryo, the hostel staff, showing me how to get there from train station, very thoughtful! The dinner was absolutely amazing, I booked for 2 nights and they made me different menu.

Real life Japanese stay with Japanese hospitality.

Very nice hospitality right from the reception. We enjoyed the Japanese bath and the view from our room. Bedding was quite comfortable considering we were not used to sleeping on the floor and the parting sing along was good fun and a famous part of this hostel. We were a couple with an adult daughter but I think this place would really appeal to younger travellers especially on a budget. The place was very well run with excellent meals available and served in a cosy lounge area. It is run by an efficient young man who speaks excellent English.

The staffs were kind and helpful. It is bit far from the city center, so you have to take bus or taxi which makes you cost somewhat money. Room was okay and the onsen facility downstairs were quite nice. It is in the middle of nature and it was quite peaceful. The hostel has nice view over the city. Overall, okay hostel for enjoying scenery and quite atmosphere.
