My husband and I stayed here for 6 days. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. Parking was easy and there was a complimentary breakfast everyday( basic scrambled eggs, toast, waffles). I liked that they had washing machines as well. The one thing I disliked was the housekeeping. I will say that I usually don’t like using housekeeping but, we had gone to the beach and gotten some sand on the floor. We only had housekeeping twice and both times, floors were not swept. Only garbages and bathroom towels were changed. Sheets were left untouched. Overall, we had a nice stay but housekeeping could use a little work.

The room smelled bad. Never changed our sheets. Gave us one fresh hotel for 2 people. The ice bucket had some mystery brown stuff caked inside of it. I had to get a new working key card 3 separate times, the keys were only good for one use and wouldn’t work after that.

Charged Early Check In Fee

We were attending a 4:30pm wedding. We called in the morning to see if we could check in early to allow us time to change into our formal attire & get to the wedding. We were told there was no room at that time. When we arrived @ 12:30 we were charged an extra $25 early check in fee but was never told over the phone of this fee. The hotel is old and needs updating. The hallway rug & doors to the rooms could use color and paint. For the price, I would not choose this hotel again.

2nd stay here

Good stay for a short time. Breakfast was pretty good. Room was lacking. I miss the mirrors that used to be above the bed (stayed here back in 2016). Room was smaller than expected but got the job done! Bed was loud and uncomfortable. Need to replace the mattress. Not good if you have lower back problems.

The area the hotel was located at was very convenient. Close to the kittery outlets and local beaches as well as the fox run mall in Nh. Room was good, wifi connection and service was not great. The kids enjoyed the pool area but it appeared that there was a hot tub that was covered up by.plywood and turf. The kids enjoyed the breakfast but there were limited options and some days they were out of stuff. No milk for the cereal, no cream cheese for the bagels, etc. Would love to see more fresh fruits and even an oatmeal bar would be nice.

This property was a bit run down. The floors in the halls were peeling and the room had an odor of mildew. The carpet and the bedding was damp and when we left clothes on the floor they became damp. There was no full length mirror or iron in the room. The location was pretty good and the lobby was nice. Free breakfast was nice but we wouldn’t stay here again.

The ac in room was extremely noisy. One of the lights flickered which made it unusable. There was a bug in the bed. The lobby had no AC during a heat wave. The waffle machine was broken, no cream cheese for bagels and no milk for cereal.

Nice staff & location, very poor room quality

The staff were friendly and we liked the room’s opening windows and location in York. However, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned well and the tub drain was visibly clogged with hair upon arrival. They did address this when asked, but we then discovered the drain was broken too and had to be manually held up to work properly. The bathroom also felt poorly installed (ex. Toilet moved when you sat on it, tub faucet moved around, cracks in floor, etc.). There were other minor issues like the tissues being empty, stained bedsheets, and an unusable mini fridge freezer. Overall can’t recommend, especially for the price point.

Check your credit card before you leave

Overall the hotel itself was nice, beds comfortable rooms clean. The check in staff on the other hand “accidentally” charged my card on file for an exuberant amount of money leaving me and my three kids with no money to get home. All I got from them was an “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience” so having to scatter to find someone back home to send me money to get home was not expected. They issued a refund to my credit card but that takes 24-72 hours before I get the money back. Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t know how you “accidentally” charge my card when room was paid in full prior to arrival. Didn’t even offer any kind of help or a place to stay with my 3 children. Never will stay there again and would never recommend them to anyone.

In general it was not a good experience, the pool area looked dirty. The carpet runners leading to the pool were worn out. The entrance to the property had a crumpling sidewalk and the lobby had broken tiles everywhere. The elevator was a little scary as well. Felt like it could stop working at any minute. The staff was courtesy and trying to make it a good experience but they need help with building improvements. Its in a good location but would not stay there again.
