Owners should really change out the carpet. I wore my socks in the room and they were pretty much black which is pretty nasty the carpet looks to be original & is greasy. Also check in wasn't warm & welcoming as nothing was explained to us where anything was at maybe that's just a southern hospitality thing as we're from the south. Maybe up north isn't like that, however we figured it all out by just walking around. We loved how convenient this place is and all the amenities, truly great for families! : ) It was a good stay.

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to visit Ogunquit. We were fortunate enough to grab a reservation at The Meadowmere and our stay did not disappoint! Our room had a king size bed and was in the main resort building. Although we arrived 3 hours ahead of check-in, the room was ready. It was clean and spacious. The property has both indoor and outdoor pools as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs. We used both the outdoor pool and tub and it was wonderful! The location of the resort was great! We parked our car and didn’t use it again until we decided to day trip to Portland. The village is a short walk away where you can find shops, restaurants and the pathway down to the beach. Don’t miss the entrance to the Marginal Way! We walked it our first morning to Perkins Cove, had a great breakfast, and walked back! Speaking of breakfast, we ate twice at the resorts pub, opting for breakfast. It is similar to a chain resorts complimentary breakfast but that was fine by me! Coffee and hot water are also available all day long off the lobby for your afternoon pick me up! There is also a microwave for guest use. We had a wonderful time in Ogunquit and I would highly recommend The Meadowmere to couples and families looking to visit Southern Maine!

The property is nicely maintained but some things are old and need to be fixed. Our balcony door was almost impossible to open and close and we weren’t the only ones with this issue. The gentleman at the front desk (possibly a manager), was not very pleasant or friendly.

While the room looked clean, it had that old carpet, musty smell. The mattress was terrible. It was obviously worn and it sunk in the middle. Still waiting on my back to recover. Parking was extremely tight. We won’t be back.

Room was very damp and dark and bathroom fan didn’t work. Housekeeping didn’t always show up even when sticker was placed outside the door. Great location to walk to town. Kids loved the pool and chess board. Gym was very large.

I did not like the check-in process, which felt like “self-serve.” We were not welcomed to the resort. Instead we were instructed to pick up a packet that contained our room keys, instructions and a map of the grounds. Only after we retrieved the information and asked about the location of our building and other amenities were we given any information. We were then told that everything we needed was in the packet. Very rude and dismissive.
