The bathroom downstairs by the breakfast is falling apart and dirty. The staff was incredibly rude. Rooms are small with no table or couch. Very few light choices in the room. It was either incredibly bright or pitch black which is hard for little kids.

Clean. The late night receptionists were friendly and welcoming. The ladies that prepared the breakfast and clean up afterwards were wonderful - all hard working and friendly. The receptionists in the morning, as we checked out and handed in the keys, were not as friendly... But we enjoyed our stay; room was quiet, very clean, very comfy beds, good breakfast, hot and cold items. YUM! We'd definitely stay again at this Holiday Inn Express in Layton, UT

The rooms met our standards. The staff that worked there were great but we did wait at least 15 minutes before anyone showed up at the front desk to check in. When they did they were very friendly and helpful.
