Tucked away on 80 private acres, this authentic off-grid cabin sits beside Hayfork Creek, surrounded by old apple orchards, spring-fed meadows, swimming holes, and some of the most untouched wilderness in Northern California.

Off-Grid Living (Important to Read)
This cabin is fully off-grid, and that’s part of its magic. No utility power within 15–20 miles. Solar system with battery storage. Generator great for filling the clawfoot tub with strong water pressure, charging batteries when solar is limited. Propane used for the stove, refrigerator, and hot water heater (pilot light may need to be lit — instructions provided).
Guests should be comfortable starting a generator and lighting a pilot light. Clear instructions are provided, and everything is straightforward.
Make yourself comfortable in this cabin, which features a fireplace.
This cabin offers designated smoking areas.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Ensure both the front door and gate are padlocked when exiting.
All trash can be taken to the silver can in the adjacent shed to ensure no critters can access.
Please make sure all food is scraped and rinsed off of dishes.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
