"If you're looking for privacy yet convenient to town, this is a perfect place. When I first pulled into the drive, it was like visiting my grandparents house with flower gardens, white picket fence in the back, large yard and vintage outbuildings. Plenty of outdoor seating on the deck plus a screened in porch. As you walk into the house, the kitchen is nicely furnished with a vintage feel but modern conveniences. The Hardwood floors are beautiful and there are antiques but also comfortable furniture that give you the best of both worlds. Renee, the owner was in contact immediately to make sure I had everything I needed. Watkinsville is a beautiful, quiet town with great restaurants and shops, but the countryside is absolutely incredible. It's only about 12 minutes to Athens, if you need anything more.
