Overall Rating for this stay is a 1 star; but could be a 5 if the property manager were to cancel their damage claim. The stay and property were as good as any we've rented in Oceanside in the last 3 years or so (easily 6 stays). Family enjoyed the property over the Easter weekend.Approximately a week after our visit, we received notification of multiple damages supposedly occurring during our stay. Damages included a significant scratch to a dining table, deep scratching (and cover up) on a bedroom door, indicators that a pet had been present, and finally, furniture had been moved around.We never used the dining table during our stay. We did not damage any bedroom door, let alone cover up any damage. We had NO pets in this house during our stay. The only furniture that was moved, was patio furniture outside around the fire pit, and that furniture was returned to their original locations, along with replacing the weather covers.We even took our shoes off at the front entry during our stay! We DO NOT recommend renting this property, as it appears you can be held accountable for damages that you had nothing to do with.Again, we enjoyed our stay, until confronted with these egregious accusations. We did not cause these damages, but apparently we have no say in this. Please think twice before renting this property.
