Great Beach Location

Great location. Walk to all downtown dining, shops, pier, beach... Nice pool and hot tub area. Eye masks and ear plugs provided due to location on the train tracks. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast set up. Parking is $40 but otherwise reasonable rates. We go there every year.

This property was a huge disappointment as being a Marriott property it did not meet the basic standards of a hotel. My room was right next to railroad tracks with a train running all night. The main purpose of the hotel is a place to rest and sleep and this made that difficult. I was told that the room being by railroad tracks was communicated to me and it wasn’t or it was hidden. Should be in bold letters on Expedia. They made no effort to compensate me for that nights stay as well. Add in elevators that had lights not functioning and only one went to the garage and no way to select it and this was a poor property. Also they don’t provide change to give top money to staff. You have to leave the property to get change for a twenty dollar bill.
