Summary:
A classic single-level, three-bedroom Oceanside house a 12-minute walk to the beach and 20 to the pier — close enough to do everything on foot, far enough to sleep on a quiet residential street. Central A/C, a big well-equipped kitchen built for a group cooking together, a private backyard with a dining table and gas grill, and a washer and dryer in the house. Sleeps six in three real bedrooms — a king and two queens, no sofa beds. Families come back every summer.
The Space:
Three bedrooms — a king in the front bedroom and a queen in each of the other two, each with a ceiling fan — and two full hallway bathrooms, both with a tub and shower. All on one level, no stairs. An open living room with a TV and a high-top table that works well as a desk; a large kitchen with a dishwasher and everything needed to cook for six; a dining table inside. Out back, a private yard with a table and chairs for outdoor meals and a natural-gas grill, fully connected — no tanks to swap. Washer and dryer in the house. Central air conditioning. A piano in the living room, and a Pack 'n Play and a high chair for little ones.
Guest Access:
Self check-in with a keypad on the front door. Your code is sent before arrival and activates at your check-in time (3pm unless you've booked an early check-in). Free street parking in front of the house, 24/7 — just watch the posted street-sweeping day. Private entrance; the whole house and yard are yours.
The Neighborhood:
The house sits in the quiet residential blocks just east of Coast Highway, between downtown Oceanside and South Oceanside. Walk west about twelve minutes and you're at Tyson Street Park and the beach. High Tide Coffee is two blocks away. The pier, the harbor-side restaurants, the breweries, and the Thursday farmers market on Pier View Way are about a twenty-minute walk north.
Carlsbad Village is 10 minutes by car.
Regional day trips: San Diego (35 min), LEGOLAND (15 min), Disneyland (50 min).
Getting Around:
Free street parking at the house. Oceanside Transit Center — Coaster, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, Sprinter, and buses — is about an eight-minute walk, so you can day-trip to Carlsbad, Encinitas, or downtown San Diego without moving the car. The beach, pier, and downtown are all walkable.
