This apartment was perfect for our family! The location was amazing. So often "steps from the beach" means a lot more steps than you think, but not this one! It is so, so close and it made getting to the sand and water so easy. It is very walkable to the pier, and there is a bathroom and outdoor shower right where the beach meets the sidewalk so you can rinse off the sand. On top of that, the complex itself has great amenities. Great pools, BBQs, it's gorgeous with plants and water features. It also felt secure with gates where they were needed. The apartment was set up perfectly for a family. It was so nice having two bathrooms. We really enjoyed the beach chairs, some life jackets and and umbrella that were there for us. Towels, as well. There was plenty of bedding. We especially loved the front deck where you could sit at the bar and eat or drink a cup of tea while watching surfers and listening to the waves.The very few downsides...The kitchen was well stocked but even though there were multiple sets of salt and pepper shakers, there was no salt or pepper Bring all food items you might need. The pull out sofa is in the living room and it is small. Luckily we were just putting one child on it but if it was two adults it would be tight. The street next to the condo seemed to be a fun place for people to drive, and there was loud music and loud cars late. It wasn't too bad for us but if I had little ones it may have been a problem. Overall, would 100% go back.
