Cozy 2-bedroom Beach Bungalow in lovely Ocean Grove, NJ with AC

Step into a little piece of Ocean Grove history. Built in 1889, this adorable two-story beach cottage is a true “tiny home” with historic charm, modern comforts, and an unbeatable location for enjoying both Ocean Grove and Asbury Park year-round.

At approximately 450 square feet, the cottage is cozy but thoughtfully laid out—larger than many hotel rooms in the area, with the privacy and character of having an entire home to yourself.

Upstairs are two charming bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other with a twin, making the cottage ideal for one to three guests. Three people can absolutely stay here, but this is authentic tiny-house living, so guests planning longer stays should be comfortable with cozy quarters.

Downstairs, you’ll find a comfortable living area, bathroom with shower, and a small but fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. One of our favorite features in the cooler months is the cottage’s old-fashioned gas stove-style heater. It has the look and glow of a vintage wood-burning stove, complete with a real gas flame, while functioning as a modern gas furnace that keeps the cottage wonderfully warm and cozy. Air conditioning keeps things equally comfortable in the summer.

The cottage gets lovely natural light despite its west-facing orientation, including a skylight in the upstairs front bedroom. There’s also good storage, strong Wi-Fi, and a small desk, making it a surprisingly great spot for a work-from-the-beach stay.

An in-unit washer and dryer makes longer stays easy. Please note that the dryer is ventless and takes longer than a traditional dryer, but works well.

Outside, enjoy the open front porch and the charm of one of Ocean Grove’s historic neighborhoods. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and the route takes you right through quaint Main Avenue with its shops, cafés, and restaurants. Asbury Park’s restaurants, nightlife, boardwalk, and entertainment are also nearby.

For summer guests, the cottage comes with two seasonal beach badges, beach chairs, and an umbrella. Bed linens and bath towels are provided; please bring your own beach towels.
