The room was clean and cute. The only heat was from space heaters that kept kicking the breakers. It was in the 20s outside so heat was necessary. The innkeeper was responsive and reset the breaker each time. In addition there was no hot water in the sink or shower. After traveling all day in the cold we really needed a hot shower. The innkeeper said there was no reason; it should be getting hot but it didn’t. We ended up leaving the hotel for another and requested a refund. My husband uses a cpap machine to breathe while sleeping and we were scared the power would go out during the night. The innkeeper was understanding and agreed to issue the refund. I would definitely try this hotel again in the summer. Maybe other rooms were warmer and had hot water but ours was not.

This is such a quaint hotel. It has bed and breakfast vibes with hotel style. The breakfast was included and fantastic! I would 100% stay here again. I would note, that I stayed in the room with the private balcony. It was amazing. After a day of walking the beach and boardwalk, sitting on the balcony was the icing on the cake. The only issue was the size of the bathroom in this particular room. It is on the smaller size, but isn't a deal breaker. I would definitely book a stay here again when visiting the beach!

The Beachliner is such a great little gem by the ocean! We got a convenient text that our room was ready early with the code to get into our room the morning of our stay. We arrived to coffee and cookies in the dining area. Our room was clean upon check in. The building is so charming and we loved the original and modern touches of it. The location to the ocean, shops at Main Ave, and boardwalk to Asbury Park couldn't be beat. We'd absolutely stay here again!

sorry - this place is not it - dont want to be too negative on here but nothing was good about this except the proximity to the beach and you are in an adorable town - i feel the hotel lacks in care for the facility bc the town speaks for itself.

Bernadette was a very friendly, gracious and accommodating host, the breakfast buffet was always fresh with personalized options at times. Her delicious homemade cookies were set out in the afternoon. The location is fantastic, four houses in from the beach and a few minutes walk down the main avenue to shops and restaurants.
