Sprawled across 1.5 fully fenced acres just outside downtown Ocala, Henry's Hideaway is a dog-themed family retreat built for groups who want room to actually spread out. Whether you're spending the day poolside, competing in the game room, or simply unwinding around the fire pit with a cold drink, there's always somewhere to land.
 
Living Space:
High-beamed ceilings and an open floor plan give the main living area a relaxed, easy feel. The living room is anchored by a 65-inch HDTV and an indoor fireplace - plenty to keep everyone comfortable on cooler evenings. Central air conditioning, central heating, ceiling fans, and portable fans mean the temperature is always on your terms. Remote workers will appreciate the dedicated workspace, set up with an ergonomic chair, laptop stand, and surge protector.
 
Sleeping Arrangements:
Three bedrooms sleep up to 9 guests across 2 king beds and 3 twin beds. The detached game room also has a queen pull-out sofa for overflow. Room-darkening blinds, extra pillows and blankets, and generous clothing storage - including a walk-in closet, closet, and dresser - make longer stays feel genuinely settled.
 
Kitchen & Dining:
The full kitchen is stocked and ready for real cooking. You'll find a Samsung refrigerator, Samsung stainless steel electric stove, Samsung stainless steel oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all the cooking basics already in place. A drip coffee maker and Keurig machine take care of mornings, and a blender, toaster, hot water kettle, baking sheet, and wine glasses round out the rest. Barbecue utensils are ready for outdoor meals, and an in-unit washer and dryer handle the laundry.
 
Outdoor Living:
The backyard is where Henry's Hideaway earns its name. The private outdoor pool is open year-round, 24 hours a day, and unheated - a genuine plus in the Florida heat. The screened lanai extends your living space outside with an outdoor dining area and outdoor furniture, while the gas BBQ grill and fire pit make evenings outdoors an easy habit. The fully fenced backyard gives everyone - guests and dogs alike - space to roam without a second thought.
 
Game Room:
The detached game room is its own destination. Climate-controlled and fully loaded, it features a pool table, arcade games, game console, life size games, a theme room, 55-inch Smart TV, and a mini fridge. Whether it's a rainy afternoon or a late night after the kids are down, this space keeps the fun going.
 
Families with little ones:
Henry's Hideaway is genuinely family-ready. Baby safety gates and outlet covers give parents peace of mind, while a crib, Pack 'n play/Travel crib, standalone high chair, and children's dinnerware are all available upon request. Board games add another easy option for time inside together. Baby supplies available upon request.
 
Pet-friendly:
Henry's Hideaway is built around the love of dogs - wiener dogs in particular - and your four-legged companions are fully welcome here. The expansive fenced yard gives them space to roam freely alongside you. While 2 dogs are typically noted, additional dogs may be welcome depending on breed and training. A pet fee of $99 per pet applies.
 
Neighborhood:
Minutes from downtown Ocala, Silver Springs State Park, and the World Equestrian Center, the property puts hiking trails, kayaking, local dining, and a wide range of attractions within easy reach - while staying quiet and tucked away when you're ready to come home.
 
Home safety & access:
Self check-in via smart lock keeps arrival simple. Exterior security cameras are in place at the front door and driveway for guest safety and comfort. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit are all present throughout the home. Free residential garage parking for 2 vehicles is available on-site, with free street parking also available. Long-term stays are welcome.
