I had a lovely stay at The Royal Hotel Oban the first room was a bit tired but look past that and appreciate how clean it was bed towel tip top. The second room was very clean also bathroom had been upgraded very nice. Staff were all very helpful but the creme del a creme breakfast a lovely selection of very well prepared food if anyone finds fault could you ask them what they have at home

Really cool old hotel. Don’t expect a Marriott, this is a genuine old Scottish hotel with tons of character and charm. The staff were excellent, providing good local advice and a great breakfast. Everything is in walking distance.

Staff member at reception on arrival was super friendly and made some great recommendations of things to do during our stay. The room was a great size and clean. We throughly enjoyed breakfast most morning. Food was hot and a good selection of hot items were available. There wasn't a great selection of Continental items available. But what was there was fresh and tasty.
