Room number 5 was at the back of the property near the main road. It did become quieter as the night went on. However, there was a security light that was triggered every 2 mins, whihc made sleeping difficult as just thin blinds on the windows. I messaged the owner the next morning to see if we could change rooms. Jonny the owner was there at 5pm when we returned. Very reaponsive to the situation and changed us to the other part of the hotel. Overall nice place and close to town centre. Kitchen and sitting room were an added bonus. I would recommended and hopefully the security lights will be fixed soon.

Pros: Room 2: Room & bed comfortable, clean & warm. Good lounge and 2 table for eating meals. Parking good and the accommodation easy to find. Convenient for an easy walk into Oban town centre. Cons: Kitchen needs more attention … out of date food left in fridge, found mouldy bread in cupboard which is unacceptable. Cupboards and fridge could do with a deep clean. No tea towels available, if not provided guests need to be warned so they can bring their own.

Really lovely stay at the Righ, the kitchen was really handy too! Brilliant location in respect to the local amenities and wonderful views. Would stay again!
