Between the outdoor fireplace and the inside, the home boasts a staggering four fireplaces: one wood-burning fireplace on the deck, one wood-burning fireplace in the sunroom, one gas fireplace in the living room, and one gas fireplace in the lower level game room. The house was clean, spacious, and totally tucked away—super quiet and secluded from neighbors, which made it feel like our own private retreat.Great setup for grilling, hanging out on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching football all day Sunday.

Very nice cabin and very well kept. There is plenty of room so you can have the maximum allowable number of guests and not feel like you’re living on top of each other.We loved the fact that there are no other cabins directly next door so it FEELS a little more like camping and we were able to enjoy our privacy. The pizza oven is an awesome add on too!

Six adults and four children spent seven days at Hemlock Hideaway. The house was all we could have hoped for! Lori was very responsive, check-in was smooth, the house was clean, kitchen was exceptional. The griddle and grill on the porch saw use, the pizza oven did not. Next time! Several parks are within a half-hour drive; we hit four of them. If you like to hike, I suggest the trail system at Deep Creek Lake State Park. There's a nice little beach there as well. We only rented a pontoon boat one day. We used Aquatic Center and all went smoothly. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Amazing home!

We had a group of 14 people stay here for 3 nights and we had an amazing time. The house was absolutely beautiful and there was more than enough space for everyone. Having a fire pit was awesome and we spent a lot of time there hanging out and having fires. Very close to nearby places only a short drive away. We also loved how quiet it was around us. We would definitely stay here again!!

Cozy cabin getaway

This stay absolutely exceeded my expectations and then some. Such a beautiful interior and exterior and the perfect large space for catching up with lifetime friends and their families. I can definitely see us making this our special annual trip!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot close to the hot spots, but cozy all to itself.

Great Visit with Old College Friends

Our group had a fun time in this awesome house. It was decorated nicely and none of us found any fault with it, and it was very comfortable for our group of 10. There was certainly room for more. Hot tub was used a lot!We would stay here again in a heartbeat

Absolutely a wonderful home!!

Stayed here for a family reunion with 7 adults and 5 kids. It was fabulous! Everything that we needed and more was available. The home was clean and well planned. The downstairs was perfect for the 2 families with kids while the upstairs was perfect for those of us who did not have kids. Everyone LOVED the place and wants to come back every year. I would highly recommend.
