Let all of your oceanfront dreams come to fruition when you book a stay at Pelicans Penthouse! This updated, top-floor condo is located in beautiful Caswell Beach, right across from the Oak Island Golf Course. When you aren't paying a visit to the Oak Island Lighthouse or the Yaupon Fishing Pier, simply sit back and take in marvelous sunrise and sunset views.

Inside Pelicans Penthouse, enjoy utilizing the well-appointed kitchen with its granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The adjacent living room presents a pleasant space to stream your favorite shows on the Roku Smart TV. Each of the condo's bedrooms is equipped with its own TV and remote-controlled ceiling fans. From the primary bedroom, enjoy ocean views and an en suite bathroom.

A focal point of the condo is the oceanfront balcony where you can sit any time of day and watch the waves crash, the dolphins play, and the seagulls fly. Additional exterior perks include a convenient ground-level storage closet with six beach chairs, two boogie boards, a skimmer-board, and two umbrellas. Sand toys and beach games for the kids are included in the closet, too. An outdoor shower and foot hose are available to wash off the sand after a fun day spent on the beach or in the community's pool.

Multi-Generational Vacation

Fantastic beachfront view from second row condo. Great value for money. The condo itself needed some TLC. Broken tiles, broken shelves in fridge, almost broken microwave handle, bedroom refrigerator not working, broken outside furniture. Inside was pretty clean. Good cupboard space, though overall compact. Large elevator. We would go again for the view and price.

The living room and outdoor furniture need to be replaced. The living room furniture was threadbare and noticably dirty, as well as uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture looked unsafe although we did not have any incidents. All of the comforters need to be replaced also, they feel dirty since they are so old and faded. The management company was great, and responsive. The location is ideal. I would not stay in this unit again without the above updates.

Beautiful view

We loved the location. Beautiful view of the ocean and very close to the beach access. The beds were comfortable and it was great having a bathroom for each bedroom. The living room furniture is in desperate need of replacing. The fabric is very stained. One of the bathrooms needs the mold above the shower taken care of. It needs a row of tile installed above the shower stall. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to fix a meal. The ice maker did not make ice on a regular basis (not sure what the issue was). We would stay again since the location is perfect!

Great View

Great location and ocean view. Sleeping situation worked nicely. Owner needs to upgrade TV/Cable as we could not get many channels unless we ran it through our son’s Xbox and then we still couldn’t get many of the popular channels. Also, the doors going onto deck need to be replaced. Unit was decorated nicely

Door to deck ocean side did not shut. Had to use night chain to keep one in LR shut also the showers doors had lots of black mole in frame. No service on TV’s. I would not rent this unit again.

Enjoyable family time

I had rented this unit for my two daughters, their husbands and a grand baby. We had an excellent time visiting with each other. The place had plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen. Honestly the property looked like the pictures only I should have looked closer. There were stains on all carpets and furniture. The bathrooms had mold or build up in the showers and the shower doors were off track. It needs a fresh coat of paint and serious updating plus an exterminator! We all left early for various reasons it was good to all be together.

The property description states the pool is open from May-Sep. A week prior to our trip I got an email with another description of the place that stated the pool was open from Memorial Day through labor. The rental company didn’t seem to care that the description was misleading. The inside of the place is dated and couches are dingy. The location is excellent, wish the place was updated.

Relaxing family vacation

We enjoyed our stay here at Ocean Isle. It was a nice condo, beautiful view. Very thankful for the ocean view and time we were able to spend on the porch looking out at the ocean. There were a few things in the condo that seemed outdated and didn’t work. (Tv in kids room didn’t work, hairdryer in y’all bath didn’t work, shelves in fridge were cracked, mini fridge didn’t work.) We did not complain or try to get in touch with the property manager regarding these because it did not affect our stay at all. Seems like a few things just need some attention. Regardless, we enjoyed our time with family. Appreciated the games, puzzles and books. Ocean Isle is beautiful and that’s where we spent our time.

Wonderful!

We had such a great time! Loved the condo and view. Sat on the porch and watched the waves for hours. Enjoyed the beach everyday because it was so close. Visited the very nice resort pool too. Will be booking again next year!

This was a wonderful location and the accommodations were perfect for our family of eight! Many hours were spent on the deck visiting with each other while we watched and listened to the ocean. Perfect Reunion Site

We were chosen to host a small family reunion and immediately began searching the Brunswick County beaches for the perfect spot. It was no easy task as we had ages from 3 to 89 coming from all over the country. After days of searching the area in person and online we came across the Serenity property. It appeared to meet all of our criteria. It had 4 spacious bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a large deck that overlooked the ocean, and an elevator for the elderly aunts. After we signed the contract it got even better. We learned that the rental also gave us access to the Isles Beach Club so we could use their swimming pool. Also, the deck had a wonderful collection of sturdy wood outdoor furniture. We sat on the deck every evening and took advantage of the cool evening breezes. We could see the other units around us, most with only a couple of flimsy plastic chairs for deck furniture. The owner, Ken Bonfield, was great to work with and genuinely wanted us to have a good time at his place. He answered all of our questions, usually within the hour. Everyone at the reunion loved the condo and we came off as heroes. I could not imagine a better place for our reunion.

Perfect location! Great amenities! Fun for all!

We had a fabulous time at 2 Becky C at OIB! Ken was so wonderful to work with and his place was very beautiful and in the perfect location! A super quick walk to the beach and the pool, even for the kids. Loved having ocean views from the porch! Only "complaint" is that the porch didn't have rocking chairs... but everything else about our stay was beyond perfect! We will definitely be back!

A Great View of the Ocean

Though the house was not perfect, the view and the proximity to the ocean and the pool were perfect. There were a few very minor issues in the house (like drawers in one of the bedrooms not staying on the tracks), but the house in general was in better shape than mine. And that's say a LOT for being a rental. We could see the ocean and hear the surf from the back deck and that was the most important thing by far. And the walk to both the ocean and the pool was very short. Really the only actual complaint I have was beyond the homeowner's control: the people above us were very loud. That happens in condos - overall, we were extremely pleased. We hope to go back next year and many years to come.
