Welcome to Bluebonnet Bungalow, a fresh, upscale vacation rental constructed just in time for the 2025 summer season. Relax on the dual level covered front porches as you bask in the ocean breeze or set off for the sand via the public beach access at the end of the road.
Conveniently located on Oak Island’s East Beach, spend your evenings walking to the nearby mini-golf course and arcade or exploring the many nearby restaurants and shops. An elevator is available for guest use, and Fido is welcome as well, as this home accepts one dog per stay.
Gather in the open concept living space to start your day. The reverse floorplan ensures that this area is flooded with natural light – watch sunbeams dance through fluttering leaves and admire wind-sculpted oak boughs against a backdrop of Carolina blue skies.
The sturdy dining table is set for 10, with two extra chairs available if needed. Gleaming stainless-steel appliances and plenty of cabinet and counter space greet you in the kitchen which is fully stocked with everything you need to cook during your stay. A half bathroom is available just off the kitchen for your convenience.
The master bedroom is also located on the second floor, featuring a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a roll in shower. All other bedrooms are located on the lower floor.
Outside, you’ll find covered porches galore where you can listen to the waves and even catch glimpses of the Atlantic from the upper level. An enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water means that rinsing sand off after a day of the beach is as easy as can be, and so is reaching the beach in the first place – a walk of roughly 1000 feet takes you from your door to the shore via the SE 74th Street beach access. Or walk along the shaded sidewalk beside Oak Island Drive and explore shops, nightlife, ice cream parlors, restaurants and more!
