Lake Front Cottage Perfect for Fisherman, Birders, and Family Vacations.

A spectacular spot for fishing, bird watching, swimming, and enjoying the best of Lake Erie. The backyard faces a channel to Lake Erie where you can fish or end the evening on the deck watching the sun set over the lake. A few steps out the front door and you have access to a private beach for swimming.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full size hideaway sofa/bed, a three seasons room, washer/dryer, and an open floor plan living, dining, and kitchen area. We have a fire table and Adirondack seating to the backyard for viewing those perfect sunsets. We also have WIFI for those who need to stay connected and the home is handicap accessible so everyone is welcome to enjoy the getaway.

Our cottage is conveniently located next door to Locust Point Marina. They have daily and weekly dock and ramp passes available. We are just 10 minutes from Magee Marsh where spectacular bird watching can be seen. A 20 minute drive takes you to Port Clinton for dining, shopping, or a ferry trip over to the island Put-In-Bay. For the more adventurous Cedar Point, the roller coaster capital of the world is just 45 minutes away.

Great place to stay! Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for meals in. My son counted 43 lighthouse decorations in the kitchen and dining room alone.We didn't have any luck fishing, but it was super windy, so didn't expect much. We brought our own fishing gear, but there was plenty at the house. Good view of the lake, and watching the boaters in and out of the marina was fun. The sun was setting over the water even at the beginning of April, and even with the storms the sunsets were amazing.Both of my teens said they would come back.

This cottage (more like home) has everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen. Very clean. Beds are so comfortable! The view from the enclosed sunroom is phenomenal! We are ready to book for next year! My son is in a wheelchair and the open concept was ideal for us, forgot to mention the wheelchair ramp! Loved our stay!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. It is very well maintained and very clean. It is supplied with anything you may need and then some( bring your food and drinks). 1minute from the beach. Fish out the back door (bait available down the street) and every sunset is magnificent.

Great location for birding at the preserves nearby, and it had all the amenities we needed: a dishwasher, electric kettle, all the kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, and plenty of places to snuggle up to read or watch the boats go by. We would stay here again.

Fishing Dream Stay

You couldn't ask to be closer to the lake! The 3 season room overlooking the lake was amazing, you could even open the screens and have full views and fresh air! We got to watch all the boats coming in and heading out, the house was clean and well stocked.

This was a getaway many years in the making, and we're so thankful we found this place to make that possible! It was quiet, peaceful, and had a beautiful vantage point from which we could appreciate the expanse of Lake Erie. The house was stocked with all the comforts of home and a lot of fun board game options for the family in the event of inclement weather. All the sites we planned to visit were within easily drivable distance, usually 30-40 minutes. Sunrises and sunsets in the back room were the perfect view to start and end each day. We absolutely fell in love with this location and we will be thinking about our time here for years to come!
