Disliked: Check-in, communication
Locality- very out of the way, only other villa’s close by. Situated away from the main part of Nusa Dua. No shops or restaurants anywhere near the villa. Villa provisions- described as having a fully functional kitchen- untrue. No microwave, kettle, toaster, tea towel and only 1 pot, 2 fry pans. No toilet brush. Main bedroom tv only Indonesian channels. ( downstairs had streaming services) Maintenance-both safes unusable- 1 had flat battery and locked open, 2nd was locked closed. I contacted management about this on our 1st day but had no response from them. Upstairs rooms wouldn’t lock- we felt quite vulnerable. 2nd bedroom needed key to lock door but wasn’t provided. Showers heads need a good cleaning as very little water comes out. Broken handle on 2nd bedroom shower door. Lamp heads all just balancing on stands as they were broken. Pool ladder VERY rickety. Very unsafe. We were looking forward to using the spa, but the main tap didn’t work, only the shower attachment did, but there was not enough hot water to really enjoy it. No welcome book was included in the villa to help us understand the facilities or to offer suggestions for the area. No reception and the villa is really difficult to find. A diagram showing directions would have been helpful. I’d like to end with the positives. It was tranquil, peaceful, and a nicely kept area. Main pools are beautiful and well maintained. Aircon in the upstairs areas worked well. The main bed was very hard.
