Recently stayed as a group of 10. Our stay was okay, we got a very good deal so it was fine for the price we paid. Pros: - pools were great - beautiful beach - plenty of day beds by the pool - great buffet breakfast - staff by the pool were lovely - rooms were large & clean - nice restaurants & spas close by outside the hotel - food was nice - movie night (but popcorn was so expensive) - free hire of bikes - fun lawn games Cons - we booked 3 rooms and they had us on different levels - there was a mouse in my room on the first night, they did send housekeeping in as soon as they knew about it - on our first day it took them 30minutes to deliver our drink order and over an hour to bring us the pizza we ordered. Another day we had to wait a long time for meals but the server apologised & brought up two free drinks - our kids ages 6-12 found the kids club boring

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Property was beautiful, lots of lounges with umbrellas no matter what time you went down to the beach. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Sumita, very friendly and helped us get our luggage from storage. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit. Indian breakfast buffet was also excellent. Masala tea was delicious. Negatives....we called to get help with our luggage to check out. Took 45min of us waiting for assistance. Also, we were in a Palace room and were told we would be charged if we consumed anything from the mini fridge but they did not give us the price list. Also when we booked the Balinese Theatre we were told they would contact us to confirm. No one did so we went back to inquire and were told it was sold out but they could fit us in. Several empty tables that night. Overall, service was good, but some instances of frustration felt by us from the service at the front desk.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The price was great, especially with breakfast included, which had a wide variety of choices. However, I noticed that hotel prices for food and drinks were quite expensive, so we opted to eat out most nights to save money. Initially, our room had a musty smell after the first night. I asked the staff if we could change rooms, and they accommodated us by moving us to a higher floor, which was much better. The hotel was very clean, and I want to extend special thanks to housekeeping for their great work. The facilities were excellent, and my son particularly loved the kids' club. There were plenty of sunbeds available around the pool and beach area. However, I found the waiting staff to be a bit slow and less accommodating at times; I often spent time at the bar waiting to be served. The hotel is traditional and needs an upgrade; however, for the price, cleanliness, and facilities, I would recommend staying here.

Overall just ok. Their option to have two kids sleep in the same room is not suitable as any kids over 5 won’t be able to fit on the fold out sofa bed. Rooms are tired and old, the space around the resort feels crowded because of how it was designed a long time ago. Always friendly service but not a place I would return to.

Rooms were good and spacious. The kids’ sofa bed is really only suitable for children up to around 7 years old — our 7-year-old just fit, with legs hanging slightly off the edge. The resort is easy to get around, the kids’ club was great, and breakfast had plenty of options. Beds could be more comfortable as they were quite hard, though that seems common in Bali. The kids absolutely loved the pool!

We stayed at the Ayodya Palace and found the room to be incredible- awesome coffee, balcony overlooking the green grounds, housekeeping daily was phenomenal especially decorating with balloons for Johns birthday- lovely surprise when we got back to the room, daily notes from hk and lots of care! The palace lounge was awesome- yum breakfast either buffet or menu and the servers were happy, helpful, caring, and so friendly. They helped us learn new words each day and always made sure we were taken care of.The canapes and cocktails in the evening were also yum and made for a great pause in our evening....relaxing and enjoyable. A special shout out to Desy who was 'in training' and already a fantastic server noticing what people needed and working so hard to meet all needs. She made our stay even more memorable! The palace pool was also a lovely space to swim and relax...away from crowds. We do not have anything negative to say...everyone we met was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Suksma! Truly, thank you for an incredible stay.

This was my second time at Ayodya Resort in 2 years & I do not regret the decision to stay at Ayodya one bit. The property is absolutely breathtaking, boasting authentic Balinese architecture throughout the resort. It has an old rustic charm with all the modern amenities and comforts. Staff is beyond helpful and courteous. The resort made my stay extra special by decorating my room with birthday balloons and flowers which was a complete surprise to me. Also delivered cake which made it even more enjoyable. I truely appreciate the thoughtfulness of the resort staff and would love to stay at Ayodya next time as well. 10 stars!

The resort is fabulous. All staff members are very friendly. Breakfast is amazing, with lots of options for all tastes, eggs cooked as you like. All areas are clean, the pools, restaurants, pool table area, and the gardens are well-maintained, really beautiful. The beach is beautiful and the water is clear, better than the beaches to the north (including Nusa Dua beach). We are a family of four and we booked two rooms. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The only issue we had was that water condensed on one of the walls, for some reason. The problem only happened in one of the rooms. We tried to troubleshoot the issue without success and we ended up with two dehumidifiers in the room to try to alleviate the issue, but didn't. The staff at the reception were polite and apologised for the discomfort, assuring us that the issue would be fixed soon. Despite that, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort.

I got sick from something I ate or drank on property and couldn’t leave my room for 2 days. Facilities are old and rundown across the entire property. Power outlet in the bathroom didn’t work so I had to do my hair out in the hallway. The body lotion pump didn’t work and the lotion was nasty so bought my own. No power connections near bed so had to charge my phone across the room. Our friends suite had mouse poop all over it. They painted the room right before check in and it smelled like toxic turpentine. No water refill stations in the hotel so had to ask for new water bottles every single day. The spa was nice.
