RUSTAGNI 1834: VILLA WITH POOL IN THE BAROLO REGION
Villa Rostagni is a beautifully renovated mansion in the Langhe, partly used as a private residence and partly dedicated to the hospitality of curious people who want to have fun and appreciate simple, honest and good things, as is the territory that welcomes them.
Facing south and surrounded by woods and vineyards, Casa Rostagni is a farmstead from 1834 revisited with patience, dedication and attention in the search for materials: we have renovated the old house with local artisans and with our work, adding comfort, modern comforts and design , respecting the authenticity of the place and those who passed before us.
Casa Rostagni has space for friends, families, children and four-legged friends: it is a home away from home, ideal for those who want to rest, take walks in the hills, read a book, relax in nature, just a few steps from the village of Novello.
We are 25 km from Alba, the capital of the Langhe and a few minutes by car from the most interesting Unesco towns of Monforte d'Alba, Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and La Morra, an hour's drive from the artistic beauties of Turin, from the villages of the Ligurian Riviera and from the mountain resorts.
The property is located in a small hamlet consisting of four dwellings, is surrounded by vineyards, hazel groves and woods and enjoys a large green space, a swimming pool at guests' disposal, possibility of paths in the vineyards starting from the house, discrete spaces and private, but also a convivial outdoor dining area for twelve people.
The farmhouse is divided into two, one part used as a private residence, another dedicated to guests: access to them is completely independent and it is possible to use two apartments located on the same floor, one with four beds and the other with two beds for adults + two children.
The apartments are close, but have separate entrances.
The first apartment (4 adults) is composed of a double bedroom with a king size bed (180x200), a loft with a terrace with a king size double bed (180x200), a large living room with a lounge and relaxation area and a dining area, a kitchen equipped with deck for breakfast, bathroom.
The second apartment consists of a large double bedroom with a king size bed (180x200), a walk-in closet, an iron staircase with access to the mezzanine that can be used as a relaxation area or as a children's room (there are games and books for children). Inside the double room it is possible to arrange an additional cot or a cot for younger children.
The house is surrounded by a large garden, a gravel garden with a shaded dining area with barbecue and deck chairs that can accommodate up to 12 people, a green pergola built with chestnut poles with tables for dining. Guests have access to a swimming pool with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas and a shaded area.
The house has a large adjacent parking area with 4 parking spaces and access to the house is completely independent for guests.
The kitchens of both apartments are complete with traditional oven, microwave oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, espresso machine, blender.
Available in each apartment is a multi-function washing machine, iron and ironing board, drying rack with grills, equipment and products for cleaning and laundry.
