Room was very clean nice comfortable bed. Was extremely warm. Only one pack of biscuits though. Would have given a higher mark but the swimming pool was cold and the sauna wasn't very hot

The room was clean when we came but to get to the room is complicated. The rooms location like a maxe up down the step . The day after no one came to clean the room but they dropped clean towel which is quite strange for us. The breakfast just very simple bread tea coffee jam n hot food to order . Not buffet as in the advert. No toothbrush either.. its just very simple R b&b type accomodation. . Sorrt but we willnot back to stay there again....i hope this review can help with further improvennt

I stayed at The Beeches for one night in a one Queen Bed room (Room 41), which was quite small. The hotel staff were great and the bed was very comfortable. There was a decent size car park round the back and the hotel was in a nice residential area, so I felt safe leaving my car. The biggest issue during my stay was the UPVC window which wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of road noise from Wilford Lane, which has traffic all night, so I am glad I packed some earplugs! The window and its recess were dirty too, with some black mould. The second issue was the TV which had constant picture breakup with a "Weak or No Signal" message. Breakfast at The Beeches was very good with a decent selection of food and the cooked food was good quality. Service was good too, with attentive staff. However, I don't think this hotel meets the standard of a 4 star property. Some areas of the hotel are old. The lift call button sometimes didn't work to call the lift to the second floor. The decor was a little tired in places. One final point - there's no bath mat and the shower floor was extremely slippery. Take care when getting in and out of the shower.

Lovely hotel in ideal location. Lovely staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. We loved the facilities a lot - nice sauna and swimming pool, lovely gym. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We'll be returning!
