I stayed at The Beeches for one night in a one Queen Bed room (Room 41), which was quite small. The hotel staff were great and the bed was very comfortable. There was a decent size car park round the back and the hotel was in a nice residential area, so I felt safe leaving my car. The biggest issue during my stay was the UPVC window which wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of road noise from Wilford Lane, which has traffic all night, so I am glad I packed some earplugs! The window and its recess were dirty too, with some black mould. The second issue was the TV which had constant picture breakup with a "Weak or No Signal" message. Breakfast at The Beeches was very good with a decent selection of food and the cooked food was good quality. Service was good too, with attentive staff. However, I don't think this hotel meets the standard of a 4 star property. Some areas of the hotel are old. The lift call button sometimes didn't work to call the lift to the second floor. The decor was a little tired in places. One final point - there's no bath mat and the shower floor was extremely slippery. Take care when getting in and out of the shower.

I actually want to give this hotel a bad mark as it's a hidden gem stuff off friendly convenient for a taxi riding into town nice little pool and Gym area

Room was clean and bed comfortable. A nice touch having an iron and ironing board in the room as well as some soap and shower gel/shampoo.. I also appreciated the biscuits. Disappointed that there was nothing available to eat after 9 pm and breakfast was a bit limited. Nevertheless, good value for money

Always a pleasure staying at the Beeches hotel. Your Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. I do recommend the king or queen rooms rather than the single and doubles. They are a upgrade and worth it. The gym and pool/sauna are a lovely relaxing treat. The breakfast buffet is worth it. Fills you up for the day. Free parking included. A new surprise from other stays was the location of the hotel, hidden behind the main road estate is a beauiful river and park that provides an relaxing walk away from the busy road. I will continue using beeches as my go to 2nd home when staying in that part of the country. Thanks
