Staff were good, had little interaction with them - when I did need someone, they were efficient enough. My room's decor is tired and is need of a lick of paint. This is particually noticable on the carpet around the fixings. My experience was ok, nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn't return here unless I got a great deal on price.

Property was very pleasing, good breakfast. Large spacious rooms, with tea and coffee facilities , filtered water available in reception. Thought the furniture was slightly disappointing as staining on varnish on surfaces where people had not been careful with drinks etc . But otherwise very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and a short drive from the town centre.

The room was a little run down. Shabby wooden furniture. The Bathroom needed a good clean especially around the flooring near the bath! Repairs had been made to the tiles which looked scruffy. If you were over 5ft 6in it was hard to stand under the shower. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. Great location to town, hospital and uni. Staff all very friendly.

Best option close to Jubilee Campus

Great option if you need to be close to University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus. Plenty of parking space right in front of the hotel, kind and welcoming front desk staff. Clean and well kept hotel. Flexipass key system is a good idea in theory but terrible in practice. We were styaing two people in a double room, but the system allows only one key, which was a major inconvenience. We had to get physical keys in the end. Also, the NFC for Flexipass is generally hit or miss. It may work at other places or rooms, but it was erratic for our room. Apart from this, there was a strange smell in the room, which I think was coming from the carpet. We had two rooms and only one had this problem, so I think it was an isolated case, but still...

Really liked the location, facilities and room was only disappointed by the noise on Friday from 7:30am as a conference area was being set up. It was fine on Saturday morning.
