Excellent position for access to boatyard; and the service was great. The manager was very accommodating when it came to booking an early breakfast and the food was very good. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would happily use it again

Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression. Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money.

Stayed over Easter. Staff are brilliant, very helpful and attentive and friendly. Menu for breakfast and dinner was lovely and great value for money. The rooms are simply decorated, clean maybe slightly small but appreciate it is a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm too. Hairdryer may have been useful in the rooms. Soap and shampoo available and TV worked perfectly and good WiFi. Location is brilliant with lovely riverside location and great for using as a base. Would stay again many thanks

Outside of hotel is a little tired. Very tired in some places. Corridors looked dated. So a pleasant surprise when I opened the door to the room and it was spotlessly clean, modern decor and cute accessories. Really modern TV too. Breakfast was fine. Didn’t blow us away but had everything you need. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal, toast and a few standard English cooked options. Staff were lovely and helpful.
