Slow check in, only 2no staff members on desk at busy period. Swimming pool out of action the day we checked in, it was fixed the following day but water was really cold, changing areas are poor. Rooms are a bit jaded, could do with a make over. Breakfast was poor, I’ve had better at a Premier Inn, we found people queuing waiting for new plates and food to be replenished. Overall we found the whole experience disappointing, this was a 60th birthday celebration and we wish we had gone elsewhere.

The room was OK. Room 273. The wash basin enamel was cracked. The water pressure in shower could have been better. Only shower gel was available. Could provide small glasses in the bathroom to rinse mouth round after cleaning teeth. Enjoyed the swimming pool.

We love this place. Been going there for at least 15 years. But this time the room was freezing when we arrived as they had not turned on the radiator. Also only one chair I think if a couple are staying there should be 2. A member of staff gave us a banqueting chair not exactly comfy.
