The Comfort Suites in Norwich/Uncasville was overall a good place to stay. The room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable, although a queen size bed would have been better - $180+ is steep for a full size bed. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The AC/heat/fan worked well and wasn't too loud. Shower also worked well. I don't understand why some other reviewers had such disparaging comments about the hotel. My only complaint is that the exterior and hallway walls were definitely not soundproof - I could clearly hear people talking in both the hall and the parking lot, and traffic noise was very loud. Next time I would try to get a room on the back of the building. The floor was being renovated to improve this though.
Breakfast was decent, not great, but it was hot with eggs, sausage, fake bacon, waffle machines, fruit, and some other items.
The location was convenient for the Renaissance Fair and the casino. I think I would stay at Comfort Suites again when I'm in the area.
