There was a roach in the 1st room in the bathroom! Walked in my daughter thought it was a spider! I go to kill the spider and behold it’s a freaking roach! Immediately with coats and bags still on and in hand walked right out! I was told I couldn’t get a refund and was offered a room next door! No I don’t want to be next door! The lady told me well it’s no refund! So I just got another room on the 3rd fl. I was so upset and disgusted! I didn’t even sleep stayed up all night watching everything! That new room didn’t even look clean either. Dirty coach pillows and also stained towels! Very disgusting! Do Not Stay here!

The room was ok. I booked a king suite and received a king handicap suite. Didn’t notice a difference until I went to take a shower and by that time I wasn’t changing rooms. Just lucky I am short. Bathroom sink faucet was messed up. Shampoo and conditioner coming out of the wall the screws weee missing so it was hanging. I didn’t inform the hotel but figured you get what you pay for. Garbage outside around the entrances other than that safe spot and friendly staff. They did accommodate me in asking for a late check out so that was appreciated.

Stay was okay. Our room’s bathroom sink lever did not stay up when trying to use it. So, that did not make it easy to wash hands or brush teeth. However, we only stayed a night, so, we just made it work. Also, the bedroom’s TV was not working properly as when we tried to search channels there was a poor connection. Lastly, my family and I went to the pool and although the water was warm and that was a positive for my children, we could see that the pull was dirty and some debris was in it. Overall, the continental breakfast wasn’t bad and the coffee was surprisingly good. The location in Merriville is convenient as it was around similar hotels as well as close to plenty of shopping and dining.

Do not stay here. We have never seen a more dirty hotel. Garbage in the room. Broken doors and poor lighting. Dirt everywhere. Very bad smell. Absplutley terrible!
