Great welcome at reception, and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The room was probably due a redecoration, but for a single night it fitted the bill. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean and there was everything you needed. The decor, however, was very tired and really needed a bit of TLC. Cannot fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Nice friendly staff - shout out to Kris who went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay! Wifi was free and worked without issue (as an IT person I know how good this news is - especially as it allowed a colleague to work yesterday morning!

The bar/restaurant is great, but the hotel is more motel and is very run down, to the point it seems dirtier than it is. Its alright as a workman accomodation but I wouldn't stay again with my partner or family. The rooms were beyond dated, the hotel and car park is tucked away from the main pub and reasonably lit. But the path to the bar is poorly lit and a bit of a trip hazard.

Good price but reflected in the extremely poor state of the rooms and particularly the bathroom. Cracked walls, lights that didn’t work, and an incredibly creaky floor. I really felt for anyone underneath us. Useful location but wouldn’t stay again.

Easy parking, easy check in, nice clean room. Comfy bed, great shower and friendly service. My only slight complaint was the room was very hot even tho the radiators were off and I opened the windows...but all in all a really good place to stay for a very good price
