I would put this property on the border of motel rather than hotel, less alone resort. 2.5 star, matress bad/stink, window locks broke, balcony is shared/conected, cieling above bad insulated, as though elephants walk above us

You cannot beat the views. Absolutely stunning.However, do not waste your money upgrading to the adults only building, there are kids screaming, dogs barking, no robes on your bed. Also, note there is no hot tub and no restaurant/bar.

My Service Dog was welcome. Front Desk staff were not overly friendly. My first room smelled very strong of bleach. After complaining I was given a much vetter room. The TV only had one station. I could not get anything more. There were no instructions for the jacuzzi tub. I could not get the water to turn on 😑 was not impressed. The ocean view from the balcony was great.

The room was nice and clean, however the sink was clogged and no maintenance to fix it. We found a plunger and fixed it ourselves. The fan & light in the bathroom are connected so they go on together and the fan is very loud. We loved the deck and the fireplace. We also really liked the pillows and good coffee.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful ocean view room with a tiny balcony. The property is old and rundown, but it was explained at check-in that they were closing soon for rebuilding. This explained the cheap price for oceanfront and easy beach access. The Expedia site needs to be updated. The restaurant and sauna are permanently closed.

Had a rough week so decided to treat my self and splurge and rent a Deluxe one bedroom room with an ocean view. Planning on sleeping in . Well that was not to be at 5am the people above me decided to get up . All I could hear was the squeaky floor boards as they kept walking back and forth. Seeing it wasn’t going to stop I got up. When I told the gal at the desk on check out she just shrugged and said yea I know. My suggestion is maybe if you carpeted the floor it might help . Needless to say if I was to book again (which I’m not due to my age I don’t do stairs well) so that’s why I ask for ground floor rooms

The view was great, but the room itself was not clean and could definitely use some upgrades. We got a room with a jetted tub and we couldn't use it as it was so dirty in and all around the tub. There were all kinds of dirt smears on the walls and the overall cleanliness was very disappointing. We didn't realize that we had a small balcony that led through a door that we thought led to an adjoining room. I wish the front staff had told us about it at check in, as it would have been nice to enjoy while there. We also had to go to the front desk to have our keys re-issued as they locked us out of our room twice. Front desk staff was super nice and apologized several times (not their fault) but did mention that this happens to them alot. Overall, ok stay for the one night, probably wouldn't stay again, sorry guys.

Compared to what it was 2 years ago this was the most horrible stay at any hotel I've ever been in and we used to stay in this resort a lot after a couple years of not being here we were very disappointed the pool was ice cold and not been maintained so swimming was not an option and they acted shocked when I explained that the pool was ice cold there was no lights in the pool there was black water coming out of my tub faucet and in the second bathroom the water was bright yellow so bathing was not an option really because of the minerals in the water my internet cable stuff in my room went off so we had no local TV and no internet channels to watch either or cable channels there was black mold all around the window and the people at the reception desk did not care one way or another this was my husband and mine's 25th wedding anniversary and as I said this hotel used to be our favorite place to stay it has gone so downhill there's no game room anymore the restaurant and bar was neither here nor there so it being closed wasn't an issue but the lack of attention the lack of cleanliness and the absolute atrocious behavior of the staff when trying to explain your problems was just enough to make me never ever go back here very disappointed almost sad as this was our family's favorite place for years

The bar and restaurant are permanently closed as the hotel is about to undergo rebuild. Spa is closed as well but Sauna and pool are open. Excellent ocean view and clean rooms. For dinner walk 5 Min to the excellent Fishing Rock diner.
