Buyer beware! I have stayed at this resort many times, but this was our worst experience by far! Checked in Thursday evening, and Security would not let us use the pools, hot tubs or deck chairs because we were not given wristbands. I called the host property management company on Friday and was told we would have them that afternoon. They never showed up, and tho I tried to contact our host several more times by email and phone, they were unresponsive. Even the VRBO representative was unable to contact them! So, we could not use the amenities we paid to use. Now we are back home, Tuesday morning, and they have still not responded! As for the unit itself, it has a great view and had 2 beds, a sleep sofa, and equipped kitchen. The beds were ok, sofa was so worn out it was very uncomfortable to even sit on, and the bathroom was really in need of a paint job . The whole place is really showing wear. Definitely not worth the money. The restaurant on the main floor had a breakfast buffet, and tho it was a bit pricy, it had a pretty good selection and was convenient, and quite good! The property itself is in an excellent location with lots of restaurants , shopping, and attractions just a short distance away. The beach is clean and peaceful, with chairs and umbrellas and banana boat rides right in front of the resort. I will never rent from this host again, and advise everyone to stay away from them because once they get your money, they are nowhere to be found.
