As noted by others, this is an older hotel but it has been well tended and is exceptionally clean and cared for. It's a short walk to the bay beach. It's a basic hotel room in a residential area. For the price and location, we were very pleased.

The outside looks a little outdated but inside the rooms are cozy and quite nice. It was the outside that concerned me. I walked to a nearby McDonald's and saw several sketchy individuals wandering around, one was screaming gibberish at a library window. When I walked to the beach (which is easy walking distance so that's a plus) another started following me until she realized I was watching her so she scurried off. The hotel was great, just keep your head on a swivel if you go for a walk.

We so enjoyed out stay here. The room was clean, and fresh. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The parking was safe. This place is small, but it was so relaxing and nice. It was close to a park on the ocean side, so you only had to walk over the dunes, and the beach was there to walk on.

The Inn looks to be recently updated. You can tell it is a well run business. Clean,orderly and well keep. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

The A/C was comfortable. The TV did not work the shower-head very low water pressure. The room was very clean. There were plenty of towel’s it was a convenient location for my trip.

Always the Best in Norfolk

When traveling to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach this is my go to place to stay. Price ias always reasonable, even during the summer. I can always expect a quiet nights sleep. This property is not for those who wish to party all night.

Clean room, all amenities very quaint courtyard. For an older motel has nice upgrades in the rooms. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
