My recent stay at this property was disappointing and did not meet expected standards of cleanliness or professionalism. The shower curtain contained multiple holes, and there was visible dirt in several areas including the shower itself, around the handle, and in the corners of the bathroom. Such conditions are unacceptable for any guest room. Additionally, our credit card was charged more than 60 days prior to arrival, despite the reservation clearly stating that payment would be collected at the hotel. This practice was both unexpected and concerning. The timing and nature of this action were especially troubling, as it appeared to coincide with an event with deep significance in African American culture taking place that weekend. This created the perception of unfair treatment and a lack of equitable service. I strongly encourage hotel management to address these issues promptly ensuring that rooms are maintained to proper cleanliness standards and that billing practices remain transparent and consistent for all guests. The front desk staff were prompt and courteous. Shuncia was very professional.

Staff was super friendly and checkin/checkout a breeze. Also thought the rooms are really clean. Only complaint is that it’s one of those hotels with doors that aren’t very sound proof at all so you could hear every conversation outside the room and in the hallways.

Breakfast included but I had to pay for my own breakfast. When I arrived at the property, they gave me the wrong room. It was supposed to be a king-size bed with a pull-out couch for me, my wife, and my daughter. Instead, we were given a room with two queen beds. We had to go downstairs to let them know, and they switched us to another room, but it still wasn’t what I paid for. The hotel definitely needs some work, but the staff was great.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was pretty standard mid-range hotel fare. The bathroom was not clean - the floor was sticky, visibly dirty, and there was hair on the floor. The towels were clean and plentiful. Perhaps they just forgot to finish cleaning the bathroom because the rest of the room seemed clean - no odors, bedsheets were pristine, surfaces wiped down, etc.

I noticed a visible decrease in the condition of this property from a previous stay several years ago. The lobby and restaurant/bar still are clean and inviting. However, the elevators, hallway carpets, and bathroom tiles have seen better days. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

Had a great stay~ room and hotel decor is really nice and modern. They do serve Starbucks in the lobby which was nice, but not complimentary. The picture of the nice pantry on the hotels profile pic is a bit misleading; you have to be a platinum member to use it. No pool working either, said out of order but it looks like an awesome pool if they can get it in order. Outlet in bathroom was not working but that wasnt a big deal. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and wonderful from the friendly ladies at front desk to Sir Wesley who ran the complimentary shuttle. Great time in Virginia, already planning our return.
