Cozy Beach Home in Oceanview

We keep it simple here in this small, clean, cozy, home. It is ideal for 2 people and maybe a small child. There is a golf cart available for rent. It also has all you will need to make your stay here feel like home. You also have access to the outside shed which contains a charcoal grill, beach chairs, beach cruising bikes, and a few yard games. This home is also a short 10 minute walk, down a shaded sidewalk, to a public beach access. There are a few public parking spaces also at the end of Grove Ave. 2 minutes away there is a great park for kids and walking . This home is only 7 miles from Norfolk International Airport! Also the is a NEW CASINO in Portsmouth VA only 20 minutes away!

Such a cozy little old house with so much character and decorated so cute! But most important- so clean! Although I did not use the kitchen for any cooking, it is equipped with all the essentials needed for any meals that you may want to prepare. The bathroom is a little on the small side but functional, the lighting is BRIGHT and PERFECT for makeup application! The bed is very comfy, too! This home IS located just a few short minutes from the beach- which is convenient for any beach lovers!Overall- our stay here was very comfortable and pleasant with easy check in/check out. If we ever return to this area I will definitely want to return to this property if it is available! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Rachel!! 5 STARS across the board!

Cozy home

Perfect size for two people. If the weather had cooperated I would have loved to try the spacious outdoor shower. Maybe the next time. The walk to the beach is as listed. However, we drove and parked along a side street due to the heat, to shorten the walk. Norfolk is an easy drive and several other tourist stops are within a couple hours drive.

This home was exactly as described. When we weren’t out discovering Virginia’s history, we were sitting on the adorable front porch or walking to the beach. Rachel was great to work with and had a super easy process to check in & out. If we return to Virginia we would definitely stay here again.

Better than expected!

The pictures accurately show what the property looks like, except that it is even prettier when you get there! We like opening the blinds every day to be able to see out into the yard where the owner keeps several blooming flowers. The property is small, but lovely. The other notable thing is that there was not anything that would pop up that we needed that wasn’t already provided at that house. I think it may be the best equipped house we’ve ever stayed in. We loved it!

Grandson's 1st Birthday

I loved Rachel's house! It is so adorable, clean and just an all-around fun place to stay. Neighborhood is great, close to beach and very walkable. She has every amenity you might need, including bikes, beach chairs and more...I would pick up my grandson each day and we would explore the neighborhood, hang out in her adorable back yard, go to the bay and just enjoy ourselves. I'll be back!

Awesome accommodations

This was absolutely the best place I stayed. Rachel has provided all the little incidental things to make the stay remarkable. We were truly impressed with this place. Clean, comfortable it just felt like home. Rachel was easy to contact and her response time was excellent.

Peaceful beach trip

I decided on a last minute solo trip to the beach and this was perfect. The cottage is tiny but updated and spotless. The neighborhood was cute and I was able to walk to the local beach which is WAY less crowded than the beaches near downtown VB. I appreciated being able to use the beach chairs/umbrella that Rachel had in the shed and the outdoor shower is amazing! Highly recommend if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.

Rachel’s property is exactly as listed! It’s a miniature, cozy beach house located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. The access to the chairs in the shed and other amenities was much appreciated and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Sports vacation

This was the cutest house that had everything we needed for our stay. 30 minutes from the Virginia Beach Sports plex and about an 8 min walk or 2 min drive to the beach bay. The beach bay would be perfect for small children with the small waves and soft sand. House was very clean and well maintained. Host let us use all shed equipment for the beach and everything was in the house that we needed. We loved the covered front porch, back porch, and outdoor shower. We would definitely stay here again!
