We have stayed in 3 other short term rentals in the Reeder Bay Area and this place was rated the best by the grandchildren, asking to come back to this cabin next year. The kitchen is modern and well maintained. The cabin itself is conveniently located between Nordman and Elkins and even though it is on a main road the number of cars passing by is very low. The place is quiet. The pull out couch is very comfortable and the master bedroom has this extra gigantic bed that made the dog pile of my son’s family extra comfortable. The place was even comfortable on the hottest day. We spent time at Elkins enjoying the outdoor dining and we rented a pontoon boat from them for 5 days. We spent a lot of time on the water, parked the boat and returned to a clean private home and spent time making fabulous family dinners. The host was gracious and there really wasn’t much we needed help with. The place is set up nicely for short term rental. This place can easily accommodate 6 people.
