The "Zur Schmiede" vacation home has been completely redesigned and renovated. It is located next to a large building with three apartments. The home is equipped to accommodate up to four people. You’ll feel right at home the moment you walk in. Modern tile floors with underfloor heating create a cozy atmosphere. On the first floor, there is a fully equipped kitchenette with an open-concept dining table. The dining area is perfect for social evenings. The living area features a cozy couch corner and a recliner for relaxing or watching TV. The large flat-screen TV is set up for Netflix. The bright bathroom with a shower and toilet is also located on the first floor. A beautifully furnished terrace invites you to relax and unwind. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. One room is furnished with a double bed (mattress: 1.80 x 2.00 m; a large sheet is required). The second bedroom has two single beds. Everything is very bright and tastefully decorated. Both bedrooms have fly screens and exterior roller shades. Upstairs, there is also a separate toilet. Wi-Fi is available! A large bike shed provides space for your bicycles.

The city of Norden and Norddeich are also a quick drive away. Leybuchtpolder has 463 residents spread out over a large area. The center of the village is the man-made village pond. The village also has a church, a sports field, a gymnasium, and a school. At the Eschenhof restaurant, you can enjoy regional dishes. Various farms offer their products (eggs, potatoes, vegetables, honey, jam) for sale.
