Nice hotel in Furumachi

The location of the hotel is a bit far from Niigata station, but close to everything in Furumachi. They also have a shuttle bus from the station to the hotel. Checkin was quick and the room was slightly larger than your average Japanese hotel room. Services were good, and the bed was comfortable. All at a reasonable price during golden week!

Recommend this hotel-great value, great service.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend restaurants, give directions and information to local sites, etc. My wife and i enjoyed the accomodations. Very clean and comfortable with nice amenities. They even refresh the room daily. We also enjoyed the modest Japanese breakfast. The location was good, fairly close to the center of town.

新潟シティマラソンがあるので、朝食時間を6:30から6:00に急遽変更するなどお客様目線は素晴らしい。変更するのは、良いが案内方法を考えてほしい。チェックイン時の案内はなし。張り紙で知り、提供内容は、パンとなっていたのは、おにぎりも提供と案内と実態が乖離しすぎ。

フロントスタッフはコンビニ店員のような、良く言えばフランク、悪く言うと素っ気ない感じで迎えてくれます。が、ビジホなので別に良いです。 チェックインの仕方やエレベーターの乗り方で困ってたらササッときて教えてくれました。 バスの送迎係の方は腰が低く笑顔で人間味あふれる方でした。 12階の角の部屋に泊まりましたが、トイレの便座がおしっこで汚れて黄色く点々としておりました。匂いもありました。トイレットペーパーは三角に折ってあったので掃除済みのはずなのに気持ち悪かったです。 自分でトイレットペーパーを濡らしてハンドソープを付けて掃除しました。 そして、なぜかトイレの蓋を上げると、上がりっぱなしにならないため、用を足す時に蓋が毎度背中に倒れてきてぶつかってきてストレスでした。 タオルの畳み方も雑でした。 それ以外は問題ありません。 ここまであまり良い点はなかったですが、朝食のおにぎりが美味しくて美味しくて、味噌汁も具沢山で、それだけで今までの不満点がチャラになるくらい満足度高かったです。 新潟のお米で目の前で握ってくれる握りたてのおにぎりが多種並び、握り具合も最高でした。 野菜ジュースが2種類出てたのも嬉しかったです。 味噌汁と美味しいおにぎりのシンプルな朝食が体に染み渡りました。 朝食の時におにぎりを握ってる方々も明るくて感じが良かったです。 お安く泊まれたので満足です。
