We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior!! The hotel was very close to the train station and the staff were especially welcoming and friendly!! The room was beautifully maintained and clean, and we even had a small balcony that allowed us to enjoy the warm air of the French Riviera!!

Fabulous location. Lovely friendly , helpful staff. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags and enjoy the facilities whilst awaiting check in . Lovely cool free flavoured water in reception bd coffee free of charge . Decent breakfast. Only negative was that room 102 was right above several air con units so noisy when French door open . Fridge in room . Walking distance two mins to train station and shops and bars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hotel is near to the train station so very convenient if travelling by train. Whilst the room we had was small, it was clean and modern. The AC was cold which is great for warmer days. The hotel offered free water dispensers which is great for filling up your water bottles, saving us from having to buy plastic water bottles which is great for the environment. Staff was very friendly. Also loved the smell of jasmine whenever we approached the hotel.

Pros: - Great location - Air con - Quiet - Comfy beds Cons: - Rooms need a refurb, a bit tired - Asked reception for an extra pillow, the clerk told us he was finishing his shift but would pass it on. We asked again but never got the pillow - TV remote didn’t work properly and we could only get about 7 terrestrial channels - We had to ask to get the room cleaned, it hadn’t been done

Perfect location and very supportive staff! Every one of the staff members made our stay a pleasant one. They put special effort into making our trip very special and memorable. We were truly touched by the beautiful room decorations and the thoughtful touches upon our arrival. It made us feel incredibly welcomed and celebrated. Had an overnight stay and thought it was decent. There was one really frustrating issue though, the air conditioners they use in the rooms are very old and VERY loud. Maybe close to 50 decibels. If I didn’t pack earplugs I would not have been able to sleep. Apart from that, everything was great.
