Small room, old furniture, the door wasn't closing well (it felt very unsecured to leave stuff in the room), the price was good for the country, very difficult to find hotel staff if needed, no lift, had to carry luggage 2 floors up, wifi rubbish,close to train station and area relatively ok

4 Day Break in Nice

Great small individual hotel convenient to station, 10 minute walk to the seafront/Promenade des Anglais. Very straight forward check-in out of hours, Text as we landed with door code, really helpful reception. brilliant value for money.

Lovely welcome from Jean-Pierre.Room on ground floor,no view though.Good size room with microwave & fridge.No tea or coffee making facilities.Air -con worked very well..Location very good

Close to center of Nice.

Room is tiny, tiny. It's like a very small bedroom. Uncomfortable and outdated. Towels were thin, worn, and rough. And limited. Reception barely available to help. No false advertising (though rooms look way better in pics) just not where I'd like to stay.

Well located, cheap and welcoming

Great location right by Nice railway station and close to all the local shops and attractions. Room was clean and comfortable and had a good wifi connection. Owner was lovely and welcoming!

Warning

There is a room #9 which is in the basement. 9 is very small, it has no windows or bathroom door. We had been travelling 26 hours and to end up in a room without a window was awful. Since we had arrived at 20:00 there was nobody there- one checks in by receiving an envelope left on the front desk - also received a front door code. On the plus side: very clean, well stocked fridge, kettle, location to train station - walking distance. Helpful staff. Restaurant: Vingt4.

check in a bit DIY ;had to phone the proprietor to get access which was otherwise OK. Therefore no one staff wise on premises most of the time, this wasn't an issue for me but just observing. public areas décor was nice. towels a bit elderly. Fine for one night

Good for a short stay

My husband and I stayed for one night, arriving at midnight and leaving very early in the morning. It was pleasant enough for one night stay and was located close to Nice Ville train station. My only issue was that the shower was obviously blocked as it filled up each time we had a shower which didn't feel very hygienic.

Beach within reach

The hotel is in a perfect location, only a 15 minute walk to Le Promenade des Anglais. The staff aren't very tentative, we did not see the consierge at all between check in and check out, which may be interpreted as a good or bad thing. Overall a reasonable hotel.

Great little hotel, close to the train station

The room was clean and tidy, with an adequate bathroom. There was a small bar fridge with some drinks in it also. The staff were friendly and very polite. Shame we were only there for one night, we'd love to go back again for a few days.

Pack small- tiny hotel and if you can't receive text you may not be able to get entry code to check in (after hours) not a great location but close to main trai station. Staff was very courteous and friendly

OK for a one or two night break

Quite a small basic room but clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor, no lift and a narrow staircase which could be difficult for some. Well placed for the railway station and in a quiet street. Easy walk to the city centre or tram stops.

Very clean, excellent location

The rooms were very clean and had a nice bathroom if just a little small but I found it better quality and value for money than other hotels I have stayed at in Nice. The decor and room facilities were all in good order and cleaned to a high standard every day. The hotel is literally 2 mins from the train station, there are nicer areas in Nice but for getting around this location can't be beaten.

Reasonable, but Basic

Clean and adequate facilities, three minutes walk with luggage to SNCF train station. Not in any way luxurious. OK for late arrival and early departure the following morning. Not staffed afternoon and evening - make sure you have a phone to call for entry code on arrival - phone number is on the front door. Good bakery down the street and first left.

Bad experience in glorious nice

No one to greet you only a "secret code" to get you in front door. No lift : wi if didn't work. TV was the size of an iPad. Barely able to turn key because lock was installed poorly, so room not very secure.

Position not bad, 10-15 mins from beach and 5 mins from main tram stop to old town. Hotel is small but cute and quiet, normally no staff on site, key code entry. Quite near railway staion which is good for airport bus transport but slightly dodgy area.

organized business operation.. we checked in late but there was an envelope with important info and key waiting for us. The location of the hotel is only minutes walk to the train station.

Most everything was fine. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the plumbing smelled like sewer. I think there was an issue with the plumbing.
