This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever had in 140 places we’ve visited across various platforms over many years. Number one is the view. Outstanding! The place was impeccably clean and well outfitted as the main residence of the owner. Since we did not have a car we were able to walk in about 15 minutes to the historic center, grocery stores and restaurants, a great way to stay in shape on steep inclines and steps. We spent mornings and later afternoons just enjoying views from the terrace. Jean-Michel and his wife were fabulous hosts. They picked us up at the train station in villefranche and took us to the Nice station at the end of our stay to make sure we did not miss our train to Paris. They also demonstrated how everything worked in the kitchen. I enjoyed the personable touch. Would highly recommend and would love to stay there again someday.
