This is a pleasant hotel. The town it was located in had few options to eat elsewhere. They were not open for lunch but we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. They cater to groups but they made sure to reserve us a table out of the way.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Balavil Hotel. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent and freshly cooked to order. Room was very clean and looked like the hotel has been refurbished and redecorated recently. Swimming pool was a welcome addition to the amenities.

Staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant is good, plenty of options in the menu and the drinks. swimming pool is great , a bit small but incredibly pleasant and a plus for your stay. Food at the restaurant is decent and portions are big, the bar atmosphere is great. Plenty of hot breakfast- could do with a bit more pasty options and the coffee is not great; wish I could ask for a proper drink instead of the wishy- washy one. Rooms are a bit tired but nicely newly refurbished bathrooms. Not the most luxurious place but overall a pleasant experience.
