Very well appointed and furnished accommodation. Excellent venue for anyone attending the Wigtown Book Festival.Would have been 5 stars except that:1. Adjusting the heating was not obvious - more info should be provided.2. There is limited headroom at the bend in the stairs - as a tall person I would welcome some warning of this! Bumped my head several times!3. Disappointing in such a recent refurbishment that a toilet was not provided on the same floor as the bedroom. Negotiating the stairs for a pee during the night was a bit of a trial, and the only reason I would not book this property again! Another solution would have been to have a bedroom where the unnecessary utility room is sited.
