Room service knocked around 9am and again at 10am. Both times they opened the door despite us shouting "no room service". 9 in the morning is way too early to try to clean the room. Knocking twice before checkout is rediculous.

Pretty much perfect all around. The room we stayed in was basic and perfectly clean. The hotel had recently been remodeled. This hotel is on the main drag so there was a little traffic noise (I always travel with a white noise generator for just such instances!) but not too bad. The location is in the middle between Nye Beach (ocean) and the bay; we walked to those location. We made the quick drive over the bridge to the aquarium, marine center and Rogue Brewery for dinner. A very good rate for a clean room that was a great base of operations for our weekend in Newport!

Great place

Brand new remodeled motel. Has a great ambiance and lighting outside. It was a little bothersome hearing construction going on outside cause it's not completely done. But just gotta get over that small stuff. Definitely a nicer hotel now in Newport oregon

Cost effective hotel in Newport worth the stay!

Really enjoyed the upgraded look and feel! Staff was very welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. My only improvement would be to include a hair dryer in rooms. Traveled alone on this trip and felt very safe. Thank you and I will be back.

Newly remodled, clean nice beds, pretty bathroom. Everything worked great. Only thing i wish it had was breakfast and a pool. I will def stay there again if i go back to Newport.

We would never stay at this hotel again. The level of filth in our family suite was unimaginable. There was trash left over from the previous guest, hair on the toilet, dust coating everything. Within ten minutes of our three children walking around barefoot, their feet were black. There was what looked like fecal matter on the wall by the bathroom sink. The light switch was disgustingly dirty. The pull out couch was stained and filthy, the blankets and sheets with crumbs on them. Stained and soiled blankets on remaining three beds. For $350 we felt robbed. What a disappointment and a health hazard. Never staying again. Would have felt cleaner sleeping on the sidewalk.
