The rooms and property were nothing like the photos. The room was run down, floors were dirty as was the furniture and bedsheets. Windows were disgusting and curtains torn. I asked to have my room cleaned and it wasn’t. The doors were wide open last night and wouldn’t close to PC Highway. The quilt was lumpy. The night stands had holes in them and were all scratched up. It was a good hotel for the price however they charge quite a lot for parking even though the parking lot was completely empty! It was mid week in winter and literally ALL the guest parking spots were empty. I was checking in late so I was tired and then had to go find street parking. I can understand charging so much on weekends or high season but I found this $20 or it might have been $30 for parking a bit ridiculous as it was empty. I am now making sure I double check parking fees on all the hotels I book as it seems the more reasonable prices are not including parking and try to get a little extra when you check in. My fault for not double checking befote booking! I will stay here again for one night as I come down for work but for my longer stays I will look else where.

Across the hwy from the beach was easy enough access. This area is a 45 minute walk or 6 min drive from newport pier where most of the restaurants and shops are. I preferred being slightly away from that while still being able to access Eat Chow, Tide Poole, Vacancy Coffee and Cappy's with short walks. Staff was friendly and helpful! Beds were comfy, but showers could use an upgrade. Overall great experience :)
