I found this to be a lovely hotel, very clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff were consistently helpful and, even if they couldn’t resolve a request immediately, they always followed through later. For instance, I often needed extra water, coffee, and milk, and without fail these were waiting in my room after a day out, which I really appreciated. That said, I did notice a few inconsistencies. On Thursday evening, my husband and I enjoyed drinks at the bar accompanied by complimentary olives and nuts, but these weren’t offered over the weekend, which was disappointing. Similarly, on Friday morning lattes were included with breakfast, yet by Saturday and Sunday they came with an additional charge. It left me wondering why the experience varied depending on the day. Bit of a shame really as I would have given 5* throughout otherwise.

All the staff were brilliant and super helpful. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Room was decent size, clean and quiet, with comfortable large bed. Swimming pool was clean, quiet, and relaxing. Bar was great too and again staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Restaurant was expensive but the food was amazing.

The locality was fine. I did not like being asked to leave the hotel because I made comments about the hotel service during breakfast, the state of the toilet, the bed which has seen better days and the home made sparkling water which was tap water. Transparency and honesty goes a long way in hotel and leisure
