The room was ok, bed was comfortable, bath wasn't the greatest, but we only slept there, so for the price it was fine. Just outside was a little messy and junky. Parking lot gravel needed help. The staff were great, taking us to our room and starting the AC for us. Was a cute lodge, just a little messy outside.

From the outside this place looked like it was under construction or closed. There were mattresses stacked on a trailer and a few people milling around in the parking lot that gave it the appearance of an abandoned property. I am in the process of requesting a refund because I did not feel safe staying there and chose to go somewhere more appealing and safe looking.

This lodge is family owned and they were extremely nice. They made us feel welcome and provided all help we needed. They are working on remodeling but you can tell they working hard to restore this nostalgic lodge.
